Think Well Is Postponed Until June 2021
It is with great disappointment and sadness, and after much deliberation, that we announce the postponement of Think Well until June 2021. There are many factors that contributed to our decision. First, of course, is the health and safety of students and their families. Second is the uncertainty surrounding restrictions on public gatherings that are likely to be in place still in the latter part of June. A third factor is finances (which is related to the cap on participants that we'd likely have to have due to COVID guidelines).
While we considered a variety of alternative plans, including taking part of the conference online, none of the possible scenarios seemed tenable and desirable. Thus, we felt the best way forward would be to simply postpone. We hope to secure the same or a very similar speaker line-up for June 2021.
The dates for the next Think Well have been rescheduled for June 20–25, 2021. (Save the date now!)
We know many of you were eagerly anticipating this year's conference, and we thank everyone who registered early. As promised, all paid registrants will be issued full refunds. These refunds will be mailed to your home address the week of May 11.
We are compiling some recommended resources for your edification this summer. Look for those in the coming weeks (they'll also be here on our blog and website).
Finally, in lieu of this summer's conference, we are excited to announce that we plan to hold a Think Well Weekend this fall. We will let you know the specific plan and dates as soon as they're determined.
